About

Who publishes this research, and why.

Redchip Ventures LLC is an Auburn, Alabama company and the parent of Arkvera Grove Partners. Redchip publishes the research. Arkvera applies it to client work.

Why the research exists

Most market material is written to sell something: a building, a listing, a service, a town. It reads as confident because confidence is what sells. The numbers behind it are rarely shown, and the weak spots almost never are.

Redchip publishes the other kind. Every material figure is traced to a filing, a public record, or a dataset. Where the data does not exist, the report says so. The conclusions include the ones nobody is paid to reach, such as a site that is not ready, a market that has added supply faster than demand, or a deal that should wait.

The research is free because it is how people find the work. When a reader needs the same discipline applied to one specific site, company, or deal, that is what Arkvera does.

Who writes it

Daniel Sexton

Founder, Arkvera Grove Partners · Partner, Vanguard Industrial Partners

Dan writes most of the research. Over more than 20 years he has built enterprise software and data systems for large companies, managed investment capital, advised operators, and worked on real estate and private-company transactions. That mix is the reason the research crosses between buildings, companies, and capital rather than staying in one lane.

He is the author of a book on AI, IoT, and the intelligent edge in the enterprise, and writes The Grove Papers, an investigation of large capital projects and who ends up carrying the risk. He lives in Auburn, Alabama.

Partners and guest writers

Redchip also publishes work by partners and guest writers: operators, developers, engineers, and capital partners who know a market or a sector first-hand. Every report names its author, and contributors are held to the same standard as everything else here, including sourcing, disclosure of any interest in the subject, and the willingness to publish an unwelcome conclusion.

Named contributors will be listed here as their reports publish. If you work in one of these markets and want to write something with us, say so through the contact form.
